Q: How does Airport Jockey (San Francisco) Work?
A: Airport Jockey is a prearranged airport service that forms mini charters and takes like people or groups (like yourself) to and from your favorite SF Hotel. By setting up into prearranged groups (which we do for you through our booking process) you get the benefit of leaving your hotel and the airport (when you want) and you take advantage of the great benefits that a charter bus has. For one, Airport Jockey prearranged charters is found conveniently downstairs closer to the baggage claim. Secondly, you will be traveling with other tourists or businessmen and women who need to get downtown to a hotel in luxury in a hurry. Finally, you really are not paying much more than a regular door-to-door residential van.
Q: Can I sign up for Airport Jockey when I get to the Airport?
A: No. Airport Jockey is for pre-arranged reservations that are put into mini groups of people going to the same place. If you wait until the last minute you will have to go upstairs (from the baggage claim) and use one of those door-to-door vans. They can take last-minute reservations. Q: After I book, where do I meet Airport Jockey (San Francisco)?
A: Airport Jockey will provide you with an email confirmation that includes step-by-step instructions with pictures that you can print out and follow after you get your luggage. In short, it's very simple. You want to follow the signs to the "Charter Buses" to Courtyard 1 (for Terminal 1) or Courtyard 4 (for Terminal 3). You will see our beautiful shuttle waiting there for you.
Q: What if miss my Airport Jockey Shuttle because of a late flight?
A: Not a problem. Just catch the next one. We ask that you do call us (phone number on reservation) to let us know, but it's not going to be a problem. Please be advised that we reserve the right to pick you up in a luxury car instead of the normal Airport Jockey Shuttle Van. The replacement car will still have the travel recommendations entertainment system and free WiFi on-board.
Q: What if miss my Airport Jockey Shuttle at my hotel?
A: Unfortunately this where we need you to be on time. At your hotel we do expect you to be on time or the service is missed and there are no refunds. You would have to pay a change order fee and call us our our main line 415-693-9700 (found on your reservation) and re-book. Please be on-time and outside the front of your hotel on your prescheduled time.
Q: How much does it cost to take a taxi to/from airport these days?
A: Right now it's $50 each way, but as gasoline prices keep going up it's surely going to cost more. Take Airport Jockey and save money and know that you're in the hands of a good professional driver.
Q: What are the benefits of Airport Jockey?
A: Luxury Shuttle Van. Captain's Leather Chairs, Free WiFi, Only 4 stops to or from the airport (max), on-board entertainment system, TV travel recommendations (for those coming to SF), no bench seating, and you can stand in the shuttle van. There truly is no comparison between Airport Jockey and any other way to the airport.
Q: Where (At My Hotel) will you pick me up?
A: Outside in front of the main entrance of your hotel. We cannot come in for you. Please be outside 5 minutes prior to your hotel pickup time.
Q: How do the combo tours work?
